The COVID pandemic has focused on the support of frontline workers and we have identified Peer Support as a key method of delivering relevant and effective support for those in need.
Yorkshire Regional Group of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care. The YRFPHC board has been watching the situation and guidance with regards to COVID19 closely and have now reluctantly taken the decision to cancel the 2020 event.
The Faculty is aware of the fact that guidance that appears to be inconsistent has been given by Resuscitation Council UK (RCUK) and Public Health England regarding resuscitation during the COVID pandemic.
The Royal College of Physicians has published ethical guidance for frontline staff dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. This publication is supported by more than a dozen other health organisations, including the Faculty.
From today all FPHC office staff will be working remotely. Staff can still be contactable by email or phone.
