As the newest group incorporated into the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care we have developed this new web hub as a one-stop-shop for all things PHEMTA! Whether you are an existing Pre Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) Trainee or looking to find out how to get into PHEM training, we have something for you.
Membership of PHEMTA is currently free. All current PHEM trainees are automatically members. Trainees who have completed PHEM training within the last two years are also members. Both groups are eligible to stand for election and to vote.
The role of PHEMTA is primarily to represent PHEM trainees to The Intercollegiate Board for Training in Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (IBTPHEM) Board and Committees. In addition, we represent PHEM trainees nationally through the FPHC and through a growing number of projects.

PHEMTA was formed in September 2014 by a group of trainees with the support and guidance of IBTPHEM. Initially, the organisation provided trainee representation to all IBTPHEM committees and was a sub-committee itself, however it has now been incorporated as a Group into of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care.
Due to essential systems maintenance and upgrades there will be intermittent interruptions to some on-line services on Saturday 27th of February. There will be further interruption to some core services on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of March.
