The Gibson Chair Lectureship will be awarded bi-annually by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care on behalf of the College. It will be awarded in open competition for practitioners of pre-hospital care who have in addition to a significant clinical contribution to the field have made a significant contribution to the scientific basis and /or the development and delivery of education of pre-hospital care over an extended period of their career; and have acquired a national or international reputation.
One Lectureship may be awarded bi-annually. The courtesy title of Honorary Professor will be accorded to The Gibson Lecturer for the 2 year duration of the Award.
