Programme Structure

The programme has been designed with a modular structure that allows students to work towards different awards, while studying alongside each other. All students on each module undertake the same work and assessments to the same deadlines.

All modules are modelled on being at Postgraduate Level, Scottish Qualification Framework level 11, equivalent to 10 credits, approximately 100 hours of student learning each (approx. 3 months).

Study Levels

Diploma in Remote and Offshore Medicine (DipROM)
Take 12 modules to gain a Postgraduate Diploma.
Certificate in Remote and Offshore Medicine (CertROM)
Take 6 modules to gain a Postgraduate Certificate.
CPD (Continuing Professional Development)
Take individual modules as CPD's to gain a CPD Certificate, or use some CPD modules as a pathway to the Certificate/Diploma level of study (conditions apply).
DDRC CPD
For students who wish to take the Dive Medicine module as a pre-requisite for the DDRC Healthcare course.

 

Upcoming System Maintenance & Network Disruption

Due to essential systems maintenance and upgrades there will be intermittent interruptions to some on-line services on Saturday 27th of February. There will be further interruption to some core services on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of March.
