The psychosocial CARE project which is being carried out for the Faculty has been progressing well. The COVID pandemic has focused on the support of frontline workers and we have identified Peer Support as a key method of delivering relevant and effective support for those in need. Professor Richard Williams has done excellent work delivering Peer Support material and it looks likely that this process will be rolled out into various acute care areas in the near future. Training several groups has already commenced and so we will be seeing the benefits in the very near future. The principles behind this part of the project are set out below in the attached file.

Due to essential systems maintenance and upgrades there will be intermittent interruptions to some on-line services on Saturday 27th of February. There will be further interruption to some core services on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of March.
