In March 2019, the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care ran the first diet of a new multi-professional Diploma in Urgent Medical Care. The reason for developing this exam was the Faculty believes that there is significant interdependence between Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine and Urgent Medical Care and professionals working in Urgent Care need increased learning opportunities and evidence their Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
The first diet of the exam ran very successfully and a second diet is planned for March 2020.
Following this exam, the Faculty received feedback that it would be useful to provide space on their website to post information relating to the exam and educational developments in Urgent Care. We have therefore provided this page to meet this suggestion. It is hoped that organisations and individuals involved in Urgent Care educational activity will contribute to this.
