The Role of Student Supporters at FPHC Exams

Students will be given the opportunity to act as expert patients for the Objective Structured Practical Examinations (OSPEs). Roles will vary and the aim is to provide realistic portrayal of scenarios. The Fellowship in Immediate Medical Care (FIMC) examinations will consist of more complex scenarios and require students within the clinical years of their degree programme.

If you are selected to help support the exam diet, you must honour this commitment. Please ensure you have authorisation from your university to attend the examinations before committing. In order to assist you with organising time off with your university, the faculty are happy to provide a letter of support.

CPD Event
A CPD Event will be run during the exam diet as a thank you for your participation. The topic will be chosen by the students and Examination Convenor to ensure it is as relevant and informative as possible.

If you would like to get involved, please email: fphc-studentsupporters@rcsed.ac.uk
