The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCSEd) has announced the launch of a ground-breaking Diploma in Major Incident Management (DipMIM), designed to address a significant gap in emergency response training and professional development. This Diploma aims to provide healthcare and emergency service professionals with a recognised qualification relevant to their roles in managing major incidents.
In a significant step towards advancing pre-hospital care education in India and Nepal, the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC) and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh have expressed their gratitude to Dr. Peter Patel and Professor James Kingsland for their generous invitation to the launch of their charity, "Saving Lives International."
New NHSE Triage Resources, shared with the permission of the NHS England Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR). This includes the Ten Second Triage Tool (TST).

We would like to offer our congratulations to Dr Andy Pountney on his recent appointment as Chair of BASICS. We wish Andy well and look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with BASICS in the future. As Andy has decided to stand down from his role as Vice Chair of FPHC to give the BASICS role his full attention, this of course means we are now advertising for the vacant position of FPHC Vice Chair (Doctor) and would invite members to apply.
