Junior Examinations Officer – Student and Trainee Group

The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC), Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, is seeking a Junior Examinations Officer (JEO) to support the delivery of its examinations portfolio.

This is a great opportunity for a student or junior clinician with an interest in pre-hospital care to gain insight into Faculty operations and contribute to high-quality national examinations.

The role involves coordinating volunteer support for examinations, managing communications, and supporting exam delivery alongside the Lead Examiner for Supporters. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to engage with Faculty committees and wider governance structures.

Key details:
  • Voluntary role (expenses covered in line with RCSEd policy)
  • Involvement in key FPHC examinations (DIMC, FIMC, DRTM)
  • Attendance required at scheduled examination diets
  • Term: 2 years (with potential extension)
