Students will be utilised as expert patients for the OSPEs. Roles within this will vary but it is hoped to add a more realistic portrayal of scenarios. The FIMC examinations will consist of more complex scenarios and likely to require a student within the clinical years of their degree programme.
HEMS electives 2022: The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) elective has been awarded to Eleri Clarke, the two elective positions available with the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance Trust (EHAAT) have been awarded to George Hamson & Rachel Keirnan-O'Donnell, and the the East Anglian Air Ambulance (EAAA) elective has been awarded to Thomas Burton.
The elective position with the Wales Ambulance Service has been awarded to Maria Ahmad, a final year medical student at the Queen Mary University of London and the elective position with the London Ambulance Service has been awarded to Lucy Pangbourne, a fourth year medical student at the University of Leeds.
