This award recognises an outstanding piece of research aiming to improve the industry by addressing specific, critical problems in the highways and transportation sector.
The Faculty of Pre-hospital Care involvement has included producing the Consensus Statement on Extrication Following a Motor Vehicle Collision and continues to work in collaboration with IMPACT on the practicable application and future research. Being part of this remarkable work is an honour for the Faculty.

The Centre for Post-collision Research, Innovation and Translation focuses on enhancing the response and care provided after road traffic collisions. By leveraging the expertise of the organisations involved, they aim to develop and implement strategies that save lives and improve outcomes for those involved in accidents. The research addresses key issues in post-collision care, from emergency response protocols to long-term rehabilitation strategies.
