We are thrilled to announce that Dr. Ami Jones has been appointed as the new Accreditation Lead for the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (FPHC).

Dr. Jones is a Consultant in Anaesthetics, Intensive Care Medicine, and Pre-Hospital Emergency and Retrieval Medicine in South Wales, working for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service (EMRTS Cymru).

Dr. Jones serves as the Lead Consultant for EMRTS Cymru, the Wales Air Ambulance Charity’s “Flying Medic” Service, and previously held the position of interim National Director of the service from 2017-2018. Dr. Jones is married with two young children and enjoys spending her limited free time walking her dogs in the beautiful hills of Wales.

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Ami Jones to her new role and celebrating her remarkable achievements and dedication to pre-hospital care.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the former FPHC Accreditation Lead, Dr. Richard Lyon for his exceptional contributions in this role. We are immensely grateful for his dedication and hard work. Thank you Dr. Lyon for your invaluable efforts!
