We are looking for a motivated Volunteer Editorial Lead to help guide the rewrite of the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care Foundation Manual in Immediate Care. This vital manual serves as a cornerstone for pre-hospital care professionals and courses, and your expertise could play a key role in shaping its future.
About the Role: As the Editorial Lead, you will spearhead the editorial process, working closely with subject matter experts and contributors to refine and enhance the manual. You will ensure the content is accurate, well-organised and engaging for its audience. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the field of pre-hospital care.

Any member in good standing who has the time to commit to this role, can feedback and liaise across FPHC and who meets the following criteria:
Knowledge of pre-hospital care terminology
What are the Key Responsibilities:
Act as the key communicator between key stakeholders and the project team.
When do we expect the work to be complete?
We hope to commence the work at the end of June 2025 with a view to completing Q1 2026.
Time Commitment: Although this is a flexible, remote volunteer position, we do need to try and adhere to the completion timelines.

The closing date for applications is 28 May 2025. Applications will be reviewed by a panel of FPHC Office Bearers and if there should be more than one suitable applicant, they will make a determination as to who will be offered the role.
The Editorial Lead role is voluntary. Reasonable travel, accommodation and subsistence expenses for the FPHC Accreditation Lead attending meetings are supported by the FPHC in line with current College policy.
Due to essential systems maintenance and upgrades there will be intermittent interruptions to some on-line services on Saturday 27th of February. There will be further interruption to some core services on Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd of March.
