We thank aspiring applicants for their patience during the pause on applications.
With immediate effect, applications for a Certificate of FIMC Eligibility against the existing Regulations (February 2020) based on the 2015 PHEM subspeciality curriculum have been reopened: i.e. the process is unchanged from before the pause. This is the only route available to apply for the July 2023 FIMC diet.
We are working to update the Regulations for the Issue of a Certificate of FIMC Eligibility in line with the new 2022 PHEM subspeciality curriculum, and these are planned for release in the coming months. Once released, both sets of Regulations will be applicable until the end of 2023 so any partly completed portfolios based on the older Regulations can be completed. Once a Certificate of Eligibility is awarded, it will stand for the period of two years from the date of issue, irrespective of which set of Regulations or Curriculum it is based upon.
