Effects of Covid-19 on Care Provided by Police Medics

3 May 2021

  Back to News Home

Mark Baker and Rosanna Watts are fourth year medical students at the University of Birmingham interested in Pre-Hospital Medicine. They have previously volunteered as expert patients for the Police Officers in Specialist Roles medical training.

Over the last year, they have collated Patient Report Forms completed by Officers after providing care at medical incidents.

COVID-19 National restrictions led to changes in public behaviour and so affected the number and type of medical incident attended. This poster, comparing 2020 to 2019 data, displays their findings.
