From September 2015 the management of the Diploma in Remote and Offshore Medicine Programme (DipROM) will be transferred to the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care.
The Faculty Chairman Colville Laird said “We are delighted to take over the management of the DipROM programme, this will complement our examination portfolio and fit in well with our new education portfolio which includes the Mountain Medicine Diploma Programme launching later this year.”
The Director of Professional Activities, Duncan McArthur stated. “We are confident that the Faculty will provide a good home for the programme and that it will benefit from the Faculty’s academic and clinical expertise. Students should rest assured that the transfer of the programme will not affect their studies.”
