Completion of the RCSEd Certificate in Mountain Medicine also entitles graduates to the UIAA/ICAR/ISMM Diploma in Mountain Medicine. The medical commissions (Medcom) of UIAA and ICAR, together with the International Society for Mountain Medicine (ISMM) established requirements for the formal Diploma course and the resulting Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM) has become a widely respected and internationally recognised qualification.
A public list of Diploma holders is hosted to allow other medics, expedition organisers and members of the wider mountaineering community to contact professionals in the field of mountain medicine.
This list identifies all individuals who have been awarded the International Diploma in Mountain Medicine in the UK. Individuals who practice mountain medicine must declare this as part of their annual professional appraisal and record their mountain medicine continual professional development. The public and employers may consult public registers of professional organisations to confirm the individual has a current licence to practice
You can access the current list of UK UIAA/ICAR/ISMM Diploma of Mountain Medicine holders here
