This programme is aimed at registered healthcare practitioners working or wishing to work in a mountain medicine environment.
The RCSEd Mountain Medicine programme is accredited by the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation) and their associated partners, ISMM (the International Society for Mountain Medicine) and ICAR (the International Commission for Alpine Rescue). Students successfully completing the Certificate year of the programme are also awarded the UIAA\ISMM\ICAR Diploma in Mountain Medicine (DiMM)
