The review process for the FPHC International Student Elective 2020 is now finalised and we are delighted to announce the name of the winning student. The panel assessed a high volume of extremely good applications from both UK and international students, and they are pleased to announce that Paul Mogey from Queen’s University of Belfast has been chosen for this opportunity.
Paul plans to spend 4 weeks on elective in Australia with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) across two of their bases, 2 weeks in Broome and 2 weeks in Port Hedland. Prior to completing this period of his elective, he will complete the first half of his elective in the unique setting of the Shetland Islands in the UK completing an elective in Anaesthesia within the local hospital.
The Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care will be offering a £250 bursary to support Paul for his elective.
